Often when I post a message, the board will say there are, for instance, 5 replies- and I will only see 2. Is that a problem with my computer?

Bebounce - I have that problem too - I always have to press the refresh button. I do that while holding down the ctrl key. Sometimes I have to do it several times to really get my computer to "see" the board up to date. That is the first thing I do when I click into the board - refresh several times.
So you might try that. Perhaps others will have some suggestions for you too.

On IE, you should use the REFRESH button. On Netscape, use RELOAD. You don't have to use the CTRL key on either of these two browsers.
We will have a change in the hosting service and an eventual change that will remedy this problem.
