Ballet.co has a news item about new arrangements at the Royal Opera House shop and the new reward scheme. I have to say it does make good sense as competition for sales of dance and arts articles grows ever more fierce.

More controversial is the move into financial services. However, given the success of similar schemes in Sainsbury’s and the high worth customer base that the Royal Opera House enjoys, it may well prove to be a success.

Overall, it’s good to see the Royal Opera House moving smoothly into the world of 21st Century Marketing:

My favorite item is the "Stretton Guide to the Ballerina (now reduced)."

After extensive research it has been established that this item was indeed an April Fool. We apologise to all our readers for any inconvenience caused by this outrageous ruse.

Congratualtions to ballet.co for an excellent spoof.

Pity it wasn't for real , i think it would work a treat. Many people i have talked to have said if anything like this came up they would go for it,maybe we should ask the ROH if they would start something like this?Could work it along the line of "Friends" do??
