Is a great addition to the library. It's by Christine Conrad and first came out in 2000 and is published by Booth-Clibborn Editions (London), ISBN 1-86154-173-2. Conrad was a close friend and fills the book with pictures of his career, neatly arranged in chronological order, including his own performances as well as his choreographic and directing work -- both on Broadway and with the ballet. I'd have to classify it really as a pictorial biography, but that's great as it really does illustrate his life and career and many of the photographs are ones that I had not seen before. She also includes some programs, a couple pages from his calendar (self-made appointment book), and some sketches. Thoroughly enjoyable and a good record of Robbins' ouevre.
