I would also add:

List of props to be used, and the table space and location needed for them.

Any chair requirements

Any water requirements

Length of each act (and piece, as you suggested)

What source is the sound coming from

Number of dancers

Number of dressing rooms needed/plans for available dressing rooms.

Any wardrobe requirements, such as irons, steamers, etc.

And, you might consider designing your sheet in such a way that though you have one comprehensive packet, you also have individual sheets to hand to each department. Such as one for the sound person, one for the deck person, etc.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

And, Azlan, as Salzberg says...you were invited, but it's so hard getting on your dance card!

I would also add to the above list:

Any make-up or hair changes as that will mean the need for extra personnel or equipment in a quick-change booth/area

Floor needs - are you using the stage as is or putting odwn your own surface?

Basic production schedule - when are you planning to load in and out?

Scenery, Lighting - Cues and Fade in/out, Special Effects, Music - Name of Track, Track Number, Length of Music, Timing of Music, Timing in between each piece of music, Fades, Moods of each segment, Timing of each dance, number of dancers, costumes, Hair, Makeup, Props (incl. table space/location.

Please let me know if I have forgotten anything. Once again, your help has been greatly appreciated. Six weeks and 3 days to go til showtime. Choreographic like a banshee. Will keep you posted :)

Hi there BabsLights. I will most definitely share with you the end result. The dress rehearsal is on the 10th of Dec. so once all has been finalised I will let you know. What I was trying to achieve with my version of Fantasia, was lighting and special effects that would portray as closely as possible to the 1940's Disney Version of Fantasia (I lost count of how many times I watched the video). I must say it was a most challenging and interesting exercise for sure! The animation I think was outstanding for that era!

Hi Guys. Now that the performance is over, I can now share with you the result. In one word Disaster Area. We had three days of dress rehearsals. My particular rehearsal was not scheduled until the morning of the actual performance (not a good idea in my books). Apparently the first group of lighting technicians got the sack from the principal two days into rehearsals and another company of technicians were brought in at the 11th hour. all well and good however my students unfortunately did not get a dress rehearsal at all with the lighting, so had to dance with light changes etc completely unrehearsed. very unprofessional in my books but unfortunately beyond my control. never mind - there is always next year!
