Hi there Everybody.
I am needing to design a Tech Sheet for my end of year show. It is to incorporate things such as: Length of Music; timing of music; lighting, scenery, fade in/out's, costumes etc. Can anybody help me with a more comprehesive check list? Any advise will be very much appreciated and I thank you all in advance.

I'd be happy to help. What's the purpose of this document? Is it just to give yourself an overview, or is it to impart infomation to the theatre's technical staff?

Hi there Salzberg. Thanking you very much for your reply. In answer to YOUR question in relation to mine, yes it is to be handed over to the technical staff of a production. I am a complete novice so any help will be very much appreciated! :)

I haven't forgotten about this; I've just been busy shooting swans with a crossbow, figuratively speaking.

The prince died.

The evil magician died.

The bird died.

It's an ecological nightmare.

The Production Manager, I believe, is still alive; I'm not sure about the lighting designer.

Well, off the top of my head....

A list of scenery to be hung from the theater's battens, as well as a list of when (if ever) it moves.

A list of light cues.

A list of sound cues.

You were invited, but you had other commitments.

Spangles, you might also include whether or not you need quick-change booths.

The thought strikes me that if you were to contact the technicians at the venue and ask what they would like to see in such a document, you would generate a great deal of good will.
