Here's my suggestion: make the "Today's Active Threads" link list posts for the past TWO calendar days, not just the current day. This is so that the person who checks the board once a day will actually get a listing of all the posts since the last time it was checked.

The current system does not have this property. People who post close to midnight EST get very little exposure. To see what I mean, consider someone who reads CD regularly, checking the "Today's Active Threads" link at 12:01 AM every night. That person will never see ANY posts :-(

I like this idea, and if I lived in the EST zone, I'd like it even more.

It's an interesting suggestion and we can certainly check. Whn I log on from the UK in the morning, I miss all the traffic from the US from the previous evening.

However, I have a suspicion that this is part of the "wired in" software rather than an option. Azlan, can you look please?

Are all of the search criteria "wired in"? Or would it be possible to offer search options such as requesting specific date ranges?

Unfortunately, it's all "hardwired." However, I have been known to tamper with hardwiring...
