Here is a story about the Burbank School of the Ballet run by Lisa Sutton. An excerpt from the LA Times,

quote:
To accommodate growth, the Burbank School of the Ballet moved two doors from its previous location to 3008 W. Burbank Blvd. Her former high school sweetheart, now her husband, James Sutton, built the new studio. The grand opening will be Aug. 12.
"This is the realization of my dream -- to teach dance the way I was meant to. To teach my students not just about dance and posture, but to improve their self-esteem," Lisa Sutton said.

Isn't it amazing though that Miss Lisa's students range from 3 to 40+?

40+ is not so amazing, Azlan. I sometimes think about taking ballet classes and I'm 40++.

You're right, Stuart. It's great she has a broad range. And what's stopping you from taking classes?

Perhaps you should join the new cd dance class offered in the "fun stuff" forum. It's open to everybody, and the technique is quite simple really....
