A review of the New Moves Festival in Glasgow bringing the largest contingent of Australian independent dancers ever to reach these shores - 42 in all. Some have been taking part, with Scottish choreographers, in a 'creative laboratory' shared between Adelaide and Glasgow; oth ers have been performing work from their existing repertories.
Lucy Guerin and Lisa O'Neill shared a showcase evening, which is reviewed in 'The Observer'. The evening included Guerin's 'Two Lies' which we saw performed by White Oaks here last year and I found difficulty with the stiff, quirky movement vocabulary.

www.newsunlimited.co.uk/observer/review/story/0,3879,151090,00.html
[This message has been edited by Stuart Sweeney (edited 03-26-2000).]
