I was trying to search for information on the Mariinsky tour to China for a non-mandarin speaking friend and thought the information might be of interest. (just in case anyone is planning a trip too) :P

La Bayadere (Beijing, National Centre for the Performing Arts)

10/11: Matvienko/Shklyarov/Yevseyeva
11/11*: Shapran/Ermakov/Kolegova
12/11: Skorik/Kim/Chebykin

Scotch Symphony, Five Tangos, In the Night (Beijing, National Centre for the Performing Arts)

13/11: Matvienko/Shklyarov
Lopatkina/Yermakov
Batoeva/Shklyarov, Shapran/Zverev, Skorik/Smekalov

14/11: Shapran/Zverev
Batoeva/ Shklyarov
Matvienko/Stepin, Brileva/Ivanchenko, Lopatkina/Yermakov

La Bayadere (Shanghai, Shanghai Oriental Art Centre)

16/11: Skorik/Kim/Yevseyeva
17/11*: Shapran/Ermakov/Kolegova
18/11: Matvienko/Shklyarov/Kolegova

*Both dates were originally supposed to feature Lopatkina but according to the press release, Lopatkina is sick/injured (伤病 could mean either I think). It goes on to say that following the doctor’s advice she has decided to withdraw from la Bayadere since it is a full -length but will continue to dance in In the night and five tangos. The official weibo of the National Centre for the Performing Arts (Bejing) also says that tickets can be returned/refunded for the 11th.

Fingers crossed for a fast recovery since Lopatkina features in the Japanese tour where her shows are eagerly awaited )

I wonder why the Mariinsky doesn't post its upcoming tours to other countries on its website. In the past I heard about tours to Dubai, Japan, now China with very little notice for international audiences. If we knew where they are going in advance (we always know about Baden-Baden and DC for some reason but rarely other tours until the last minute), we could actually plan a vacation around a tour. But I guess they sell out easily in other countries without advance notice, so it is not a priority.

Pennealla, I've also often wondered about that but I think it's as you say -- the Asian tours in particular always sell out, there is a huge market for ballet there, so they don't "need" to advertise. But it would be nice for those who want to travel *and* take in the ballet while they do!
