Silicon Valley Ballet (formerly known as Ballet San Jose) announces its 2015-16 season. In the San Jose Mercury News, Karen D'Souza reports on the current status of the ongoing fundraising compaign and also notes that Alan Hineline, recently hired as CEO from Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, will be departing "for personal reasons." The season will open with Alicia Alonso's "Giselle," October 16-18, 2015.

In the San Jose Mercury News, Aimee Ts'ao previews Silicon Valley Ballet's "Director's Choice" program, made up of repertoire that the company performed in its recent visit to Spain. Performances are February 19-21, 2016 at the San Jose Performing Arts Center.
