There is, of course, Julliard, in NYC: http://www.juilliard.edu/
. The Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, which is now in the former Merce Cunningham space in Greenwich Village (the lower East Side): http://marthagraham.org/school/
Hubbard Street in Chicago: http://www.hubbardstreetdance.com/
These are the one that are I know about and each are well-established. Julliard is a degree program, while Hubbard is not. I'm biased toward the Graham work -- totally beneficial for your development as a dancer -- a terrific technique and so expressive.
You could probably do a Google search for contemporary dance in Miami and California.
Best wishes with your post-high school dancing!
