Thanks so much, Catherine ! Do you have any idea what they might be performing (besides the Swan Lake in Naples, which I might actually be able to get to.) ?

Thanks, Catherine, for your responses. I just bought some tickets for the Swan Lakes in Naples, Italy. That's right next to the Amalfi Drive, possibly one of the most beautiful places in the entire world. One great doubleheader !

A very pleasant lady there guided me through the internet purchase over the telephone. That's Italy. :D

Folks probably as nice as in Ireland.

Can one exist in this life primarily on Swan Lakes ?

I'm working on it.

I wonder what they will bring. I have looked around on the websites of the major theatres in the Netherlands but nothing is announced so far. I'm so curious!

Ah yes, thats what I'd guessed. I have tickets for the 17th performance, will let you know how it was! I thought maybe a small chance of Lopatkina or Somova, but Shirinkina was what I thought I'd end up with. And hoped for, although I'd also love to see Somova's Giselle.
Had hoped for Kuznetsov as Hans, but I'm sure Smekalov will be fine as well!

Hi Lidewij,

Welcome to the forum, and yes, please do post back your impressions! I am curious also if the house is sold out for this short run.

Well, I also wanted to buy some tickets for the performance of the 16th, but it was pretty much sold out (this was early October). This is a saturday evening of course, and it was known for some time (through her own website) that Diana Vishneva would be performing on that night.
