Went 10,000-+ miles to see Cojocaru/Kobbe in Swan Lake last week and it was worth every inch of travel. Incomparable. Royal has gotten a lot more physical. The production values were frabjous, gorgeous colors. They really worked the swan corps...anyway, saw both programs, Requiem had beautiful hand-painted unitards. Again, somebody who knew me from SF came up and said hello...as much as I love McMillan, Concerto looked like Konservatoriet on steroids...
