In the California Literary Review, Geri Jeter interviews Jared Hunt, who recently joined Smuin Ballet from Ballet Idaho, as a preview of the 2011-12 season, which begins on September 23, 2011 at the Palace of Fine Arts. The fall/winter program includes three works by Michael Smuin: "Stabat Mater," "Tango Palace" and "Eternal Idol," plus a new work by Amy Seiwert to music by Patsy Cline.

Smuin Ballet opens its Spring 2012 program on April 27 through May 6 at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. The program includes the company premiere of Val Caniparoli's "Swipe." Geri Jeter interviews Val Caniparoli for the California Literary Review.
