This does not bode well for the company. When a business man is making artistic decisions for business reasons it usually spells the end of a company. I hate to be a pessimist but the SJB dancers better start auditioning elsewhere a quickly.

I really don't think it's a good idea to run a ballet company without an Artistic Director who is/was a dancer. I seriously question the judgement of this move. I hope this isn't the beginning of the end for the company.
