Hello everyone! I'm Cristian, a Cuban guy living in Miami. I was introduced to ballet at an early age, and ever since it has become a lifelong passion...at times even sort of like a psychological survival tool...a powerful one. Villella's company here has helped me look at an entirely different side of the art, although I must confess I'm a Romantic ballets lover...that's really my thing, and Giselle is up there...all the way up. I'm very interested in the history of Ballet Theater and Ballet Russes de Monte Carlo during the 40's and 50's, along with its dancers. Alicia Alonso and Alicia Markova are two of my favorite icons, and from the last years of ballet viewing, Lorna Feijoo from Boston Ballet, Jeanette Delgado From Miami City Ballet and Rolando Sarabia from Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami are my best picks.
