* Aimelie and The Dancer Who Lives in The Park *

Aimelie loves to visit The Dancer Who Lives in The Park

Aimelie loves to watch her dance

The Dancer lives in an imaginary little white cottage covered with beautiful flowers

When it rains the drops make lovely pitter-pattering sounds on the imaginary rooftop

Aimelie and The Dancer love to talk about flowers and sunshine and just anything that is beautiful

Most of all they love to dance

The Dancer Who Lives in The Park dances like A Wondrous Fairie-Angel

Aimelie who is only five-years-old dances like the Joy of A New Sunshiny Day

Aimelie, like the Dancer Who Lives in The Park

May also dance someday like a Wondrous Fairie-Angel

But She and the Dancer Who Lives in The Park

Will Always Lovingly Remain The Child

The changing sunlight dancing on the landscape
Veils of clouds dancing overhead
Stars dancing twinkling in the nighttime skies
The heart dancing on a sea of beauty and love

It's a clear new day and a fresh breeze breathes new life.

I have vivid images this morning of

** An Angel-like Being **

rotating-pivoting in space.

Her flowing, flowering gown of white air echoes her every marvelous gesture. Her lovely face is surrounded by the loveliness of her every move. With her beautiful dancing and her artistic desire she has caught an ethereal wave that she rides as gracefully as the breeze that carries it.

Our minds and hearts set sail as we watch her.

** Recalling Her -- All Is Calm And All Is Beautiful **

This is one of our loveliest of all dreams. She is an image of ideal human beauty, an Earth-Angel, a star-bound being carrying us along on a voyage of the heart and soul.

Perhaps this is also what beautiful dance is about. To help set the mind and heart free to be able to ride the breathe of life that each new day offers us.

(This is a slight rewrite and addition to my post several years ago describing two performances by Ekaterina Osmolkina with the Kirov-Mariinsky somewhere across the ocean from Beau-Le-Soleil. Also there is reference to a similarly wonderful performance by Nina Kaptsova with the Bolshoi in the 'countryside' of Beau-Le-Soleil earlier this year.)

"If I could dance like a wave, how beautiful I would be," said Aimie.

"You are that beautiful," said Ami,

"Just being yourself."

"I'd love to play in the flowers and dream that I dance like a beautiful fairy-angel," said five-year-old Aimie.

"In this garden you are what you dream you are," said her five-year-old twin brother, Ami.

" Let's play ! "

Five-year-old Aimie and Ami just got their latest copy of the Beau-Le-Soleil Magazine, "The Dancing Lullaby". It lists the top Five dances for this Summer.

The "I Love You" Waltz

The "Happy" Dance

The "Let's Play and Have Fun" Dance

The "Me"

The "You're So Beautiful" Dance

" Why I Like To Dance ! "

* My 9 year old's response:

"Because then people can see ME."

And I don't think she meant simply being on stage - I believe she meant it as being a large part of who she is.

* I asked my 10 year old DS yesterday, he said "I love the movements, I love doing moves that I haven't done before" nothing more or less.

* My 7.5 year old DS-- "Because it's fun!"

Me-- "Why is it fun?"

DS-- "Because I'm good at it!!"

* 11 yr old DS says, "Because it's challenging but also fun. I like to move, especially to jump and turn."

* 6 y/o DD - because I love the music and it makes me happy.

* Almost 10 yr old DD - "because it gets my energy and my emotions out".

* I am rozin's dd

I like to dance because it's an outlet from busy school etc.
It lets me concentrate on something I really enjoy and am good at.
I love my teachers which helps and they always take care over faults. They never make me feel stupid.

I also love dancing because of the music I really like listening and then dancing to it!

I [Love] dancing!!!

* "it makes me feel like an angel"

* "it just makes me happy"

Aimelie and the Dancer Who Lives In The Park

The Dancer Who Lives In The Park does Grands Jetés and Pirouettes "Au-Dessus Au-Delà" ("Above and Beyond").

Five-year-old Aimelie does "Les Culbutes" and "La Balance Gauchement du Pingouin" ("Somersaults" and "The Penguin Waddle").

Together they make the Sun Beam Mightily and the Stars Shine Delighted-ly !

the pearl lit sky
and the swaying trees
make my heart dance
thought Aimie

that evening
lovely fairy-angels
danced in the park

Aimie and Ami
tiptoed home
along the gently lit pathways
of Beau-Le-Soleil
so as not to break the beautiful spell

* Moon Boots *

A Star Is Born !

She looks like Raggedy Ann but she dances like Anna Pavlova with touches of Slip Slide Sally.

Her ability to redefine the Galaxies has been compared to that of Aphrodite (the Greek goddess of Love and Beauty) and Tinker Bell.

Animal writes in the The Muppet Muse Paper —- “A Rainbow Collision of Beauty with The Epic Profoundness of Both(!) Kermit The Frog and Big Bird Combined!”

Clement Critic writes in “The Beau-Le-Soleil Gazette” (The BLSG—“The Blissful Blog”) —- “ Wow! Cosmic! Mind Boggling! Haven't Felt This Good Since My First Boogaloo Lesson!”

Five-Year-Old Twins Aimie and Ami say that she’s Awesome and Revelatory in her Penguin, yet Heavenly-like, renderings of the Kangaroo-ew-whop-ee-doo. She’s also their best friend and they love her dearly.

* Moon Boots *

All serious dancers wear moon boots when they’re warming up. So does the world famous dancer and cosmic sweetheart, Five-year-old Moon Boots, except she never takes her’s off.

When she’s swimming, when she’s sleeping and certainly when she’s dancing Swan Lake for thousands at the Beau-Le-Soleil Grand Theatre de Theatre, she always wears her moon boots. She has them in Fifty different colors, but Never(!) the same color on both feet. When she attended the yearly Gala of Galas at Cité-Le-Jardin in her magnificent silver velvet and lollipop gown, she chose green and yellow. They're also Five sizes too large.

As a world famous dancer, she can’t appear without them. They make her Grands Sauts higher, her Rond de Pieds Pieds faster, her Chat de Chats much more graceful and her Duck Waddles infinitely more magical.

Everyone wants to dance as beautifully as Moon Beam, so Everyone has at least two pairs of moon boots, so that they Never(!) have to wear the same color on each foot. Animal has orange and blue. Clement Critic has gold and silver. He says that his Soft Shoe Boogaloo would never be the same without them. Most dancing trees wear lime and chartreuse.

And — The Dance Sensation That’s Sweeping The Nation (destined to rival The Swan Pond on The-Toddlers-And-Hipsters-Nifty-Top-Fifty) — You guessed it ! — The Moon Boot Hoot !
