Ballet Nacional de Cuba will perform in Vancouver, British Columbia, February 17-19, 2012. While the specific repertoire to be performed has not yet been announced, producer David Y. H. Lui promises the services of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Kevin Griffin reports in the Vancouver Sun.

Ballet Nacional de Cuba's 2011 U.S. tour begins on May 31 in Washington, D.C., then migrates to the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York; Segerstrom Hall in Costa Mesa, California; and concludes in Los Angeles on June 26. The program is "Magia de la Danza." Jeff Franks reports for Reuters.
