In the Las Vegas Events Examiner, Tiffanie Bond previews the 2009-10 season opening program, "Timeless Innovation," Saturday and Sunday, October 17-18, 2009 in the Artemus Ham Concert Hall at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The program includes Balanchine's "Rubies" and two works by Artistic Director James Canfield, "Coco" and "The Jungle."

Nevada Ballet Theatre held its Black & White Gala Ball on Saturday, January 23, 2010 and awarded Marie Osmond with its Woman of the Year Award. John Katsilometes reports in the Las Vegas Sun.
