I stood at the side of the main street of town looking at an evergreen bush covered with fresh snow. It sparkled brightly in the afternoon sunlight.

"It's late. How long should I stay here?", I asked myself.

The children were leaving dance practice with images of beautiful lines and motions and sounds of music glowing in their heads. Five-year-old Aimie and Ami came running over.

"What are you doing?", they asked.

"Oh, I'm just looking at a snow-covered bush," I replied.

They looked for a moment.


" After Aimie, that's the most beautiful thing that I've ever seen ! ", said Ami.

"I'm going to make a dance so that we can always remember this,"

said Aimie to her five-year old brother, Ami.

"I'm going to write a poem,"

said Ami to his five-year-old sister, Aimie.



"Snowflake, snowflake, fly my way

Dance your heart with joyful play."

the early morning mist
on the distant snow-covered landscape
turned the massive towering mountains
into luminous vibrant air

as the world slept quietly
five-year-old aimie and ami
looked out their bedroom window
their eyes and their hearts came alive
seeing poetry in every sparkling thing
light giving life to a gentle magnificence

"come dance in the snow with me,"
said five-year-old aimie to her twin brother ami
"we'll have so much fun!"

Cite-Le-Jardin is a very large garden that is also a city.

Five-Year-Old twin sister and brother, Aimie and Ami, live nearby in the mountain town of Beau-Le-Soleil.

They love the number Five !

Each week they come down to give dance lessons. Their lessons are given at the Cour-le-Coeur (Courtyard of the Heart). Famous dancers from all over the world take lessons here.

Beau-Le-Soleil is five thousand feet above Cite-Le-Jardin. Aimie and Ami ride the fast slide from Beau-Le-Soleil. It takes about five minutes. Going back up the mountain takes a little longer. Most folks usually travel by elephant or camel for the first five hours and then take the fast-train for the last five minutes. It's just more fun that way !

The Cour-le-Coeur is an old courtyard, about five thousand years old, that has lots of dance space and offers about five hundred different styles of dance lessons. Most folks just stick with Aimie and Ami's world famous dance program for five-year-olds, learning to perfect their technique. These dances include the splish-splash, the tree, the slip-slide-and-glide-waltz and the hug. Once this is accomplished, students are generally awarded immediate Principal positions with the most famous dance companies in the world. Lightheartedness is usually the quality most sought after, but angel-like loveliness is highly regarded as well.

Five beautiful young ladies, often referred to as the Five Muses of the Cour-le-Coeur, live in a rooftop garden on the fifth floor in a charming side street about five blocks from the magnificent flowertree-lined Boulevard-du-Boulevard. They also have a house-and-garden boat on the Riviere-de-la-Riviere that they live on and ride to Aimie and Ami's dance class at the Cour-le-Coeur.

Muse One loves to make everyone smile.

Muse Two loves to sprinkle love-inspiring flower petals on passersby.

Muse Three is one of the coolest looking ladies in Cite-Le-Jardin, often wearing bright patterned stockings, each leg being a different color.

Muse Four is one of the most beautiful ladies in Cite-Le-Jardin.

Muse Five is one of the kindest ladies in Cite-Le-Jardin.


Aimie and Ami are so proud of their Five Muses. They dance so beautifully and make everyone so happy !

It sometimes seems that the most beautiful choreography in the world

is children at play.

It's one of those times of year when the dancing stars are twinkling brightest in their starlit sky, a fairy-lit night of shimmering beauty.

Five-year-old Aimie and Ami are dancing in the park as they love to do on beautifully starlit nights.

Ami bows graciously
to his twin sister, Aimie,
and they waltz

There's a fairy-angel presence everywhere.

Aimie tries to glide down the slide backwards on one foot in perfect five-year-old arabesque position.

Ami tries to catch her and lift her high over his head as both children fall merrily into a huge pile of soft, glittering snowflakes.

There's something magically enchanting about an evening when the dancing stars shine down lovingly on dancing children and all is beauty and happiness.

"What's that dancing in the sky?," asked the little girl.

"It's the moon and the stars," answered Ami.

" How wonderful ! ," replied the little girl.
