Miami City Ballet is playing at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4, 2009. On the program are Balanchine's "Symphony in Three Movements," "Valse Fantaisie," and Black Swan Pas de Deux. Sid Smith reports in the Chicago Tribune:

This is a highly enthusiastic review about one of my favorite dance companies. I am very glad to see that Sara Esty, one of the two Esty sisters, both of whom completely rocked my heart last November with their fine dancing and immensely lovable, youthfully propelled performing, was finally placed on stage alongside principals, Tricia Albertson and Patricia Delgado in George Balanchine's "Valse Fantasie".

"....Sara Esty, a "replacement" from the corps whose lush movement possessed absolute star quality."

So much wonderful talent to be found here.
