Crucial meeting today as Texas Ballet Theater approaches self-imposed fundraising deadline

With only five days to go before reaching its self-imposed deadline for raising $2 million — $500,000 in cash — or face the possibility of declaring bankruptcy or closing its doors, the Texas Ballet Theater is scheduled to hold a critical board of trustees management meeting today

The Meadows Foundation has come through with $500,000 to ensure that Texas Ballet Theatre has enough in operating funds to get through the 2008-09 season. Andrew Marton reports in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram:
