Aimie and Ami, our two Five-Year-Olds, sister and brother, were sitting in the Beau-Le-Soleil park.

Aimie is Ami's twin sister. She's a girl.


They had both been to see dance shows the day before.


"I saw The Sunshine City Dancers," said Ami.

"They did so much stuff to the music and they seemed to be having so much fun.

" The men jumped so high ! "

" Here, watch me ! "


"I saw our own MerryLoveGlee Children's Dancers," said Aimie.

" The girl dancing was so beautiful ! "


" And it's such a beautiful day ! " said Ami. " Let's play ! "


Aimie did dance steps all the way across the park.


Ami, running happily alongside----jumped over the moon !


In a child's mind

will always grow a child's garden

It's crystal clear today

the air, the light, the sky


Our senses dance again.

It's Autumn and once more Nature dances in the clear, fresh air.

A mountain valley far below embraces us with its distant echoes of life and soothing calm.

Mountain summits far above shine in the dancing sunlight.

Clouds dance overhead and the sky changes from one sparkling shade of blue to another.

Sunlight dances from valley to valley and mountaintop to mountaintop.

At our fingertips, simple quartz and granite rock glitters in the afternoon sun like

Thousands of Daytime Stars.



"Wish upon a Daytime Star," said Ami, to his five-year-old twin sister, Aimie.


"I wish that I could dance from mountaintop to mountaintop, from daytime star to daytime star, said Aimie,

"but only sometimes, because I would never be happier than I am right now, standing here with you and playing

Music and dance fill their minds and move their feet
Sunshine fills their eyes
Happiness is alive in their smiling faces

Based on this lovely recollection of Suzanne Farrell, our five-year-old twin sister and brother, Aimie and Ami, will choreograph and star in their own original version of "Swan Lake".

Since Aimie, as Odette, and Ami, as Sigfried, are only five-years-old, most of the dancing will actually be done by The Picture Window and The Chair.

Aimie and Ami have choreographed a fifteen minute solo for The Picture Window. Suzanne herself has agreed to dance the part. Taking note of the creative genius of Aimie and Ami, even before it has been written, Clement Critic has declared it to be "One of The Most Enchanting Dance Creations of Our Times".

The Chair will be danced by our own Kirov-Mariinsky's Eagle Zelensky. There will be more than 50 Grandes Jetees (Big Jumps) choreographed for The Chair.

Sparkle is a dancing sea nymph

She loves to spend her days dancing on the waves

Like her friends the waves
She loves to wear different dance costumes
Sometimes she looks like a touch of sunlight
Other times she looks like a cascade of diamonds and emeralds

She dances in her water garden of shining silvers and azure-blues
Under a soft blue sky
Sometimes filled with dancing bouquets of gold-tinted clouds

She dances in the golden sunrises
And she dances in the golden sunsets

To the little children playing on the beach
She offers handfuls of glitter
And eyefuls of dazzle

She loves to watch their joy
She loves to dance with them

She dances like a wave
She glides to them like a gentle breeze
She caresses their play

To the little children on the beach
She is Fun and she is Beautiful

She makes them Happy

She delights their Dancing Hearts

Springtime


Sunlight maidens seem to be dancing in the sky today

In long flowing gowns as soft as air

They swirl and circle and glide

Some as peaceful as the sky itself

Some as joyful as a mother embracing her newborn child


" Would you like to see some of my new dance steps ? ", asks five-year-old Aimie--with a smile as bright as the sun.

" They're lots of fun and they're really lovely ! "


Little children's happy voices call to her


A beautiful Springtime day

Filled with beautiful Springtime daydreams

Now seems even more beautiful

sunlight-hearted beings
and child-hearted dancers
embrace their imagination

back and forth to each other

they must be auditioning for
the new bugaloos
how-do-you-do's
silly dancing muse
swan lake revues
thinks five-year old ami

starlit skies
echoed by angel-like dancers
watch five-year-old aimie
as she skips and spins
heartfully
so artfully
through her love-filled garden

five year old aimie is teaching
the ballet-would-ballywood

to a group of white butterflies
weaving overhead airily

to the delight of the flowers
just sitting there cheerily

to the applause of the children
dance-playing so merrily

the lovely dancer
just sitting tonight in the audience watching
her hands floating back and forth to the music
like enchanted butterflies wings
she so aglow
in her childlike reverie
