Hello, allalone32, and welcome to CriticalDance. You should place your pointe shoes in the wings somewhere where you can easily find them so you don't have to run back to the dressing room to change. You will not have enough time to sew ribbons, so I suggest having some cloth tape next to your shoes to quickly tape your ribbons after they are tied, instead of sewing them. You wouldn't want your ribbons to come out during your performance. This can be quite unsettling and distracting...

. Instead of using water to wet your heels (this helps your shoes to stay put better), you could quickly use a little rosin on your heels before you slip your pointe shoes on. Good luck with your performance!
