Thank you for your very nice Valentine's poem and kind wishes.

Buddy told us that when he was a little boy living with his mother, she would send him ten or fifteen Valentine's cards by mail each Valentine's Day. It was one of the nicest things that anyone ever did for him. After your message he remembered this and he thanks you.

We did have a lovely day of *Sunshine*. We hope that you did too.

Prologue

It is a beautiful sunshiny day at Lake Beau-Le-Soleil. Swans are gliding along the water. A little boy and a little girl are sitting on the grass. They are telling stories and daydreaming and having a wonderful time.

A group of villagers walk by. They are all very happy and dressed in beautiful, handsome costumes. They are going to a party. They wave to the children.

Act I

Everyone at the party is dancing and singing. One very handsome man is talking to all his friends. Everyone likes him because he is so nice. The very handsome man and some of his friends decide to take a walk through the woods.

Act II

The very handsome man wanders off by himself. Suddenly he sees a beautiful maiden dancing in a flower covered meadow. He approaches her and she smiles gently, lovingly. He falls in love instantly. He has never seen such a beautiful, gentle and innocent maiden before. An entire group of lovely, dancing maidens appear. They dance around the flower covered meadow and then return to the woods. The beautiful maiden walks over to the handsome man and kisses him gently. "I will always be here when you need me", she says and then follows the other maidens back into the woods.

It must never be forgotten that Beau-Le-Soleil, it is said, was founded by beautiful dancing wood nymph maidens many years ago.

Act III

The very handsome man returns to the party. He has never been so much in love. Everyone is still dancing and having a wonderful time. Suddenly the most beautiful woman in the world appears. She is dressed in a gown that shines like a million diamonds. She walks over the very handsome man and kisses him. Then she starts to dance like a million twinkling stars. The spell is cast. Never has the very handsome man seen anything so beautiful. How could any man resist such beauty. She dances through the crowd of guests paralyzing everyone with her hypnotic gaze. No one could resist such an enticement. She will lead and you will follow.

The very handsome man is captured forever. But what of the beautiful innocent maiden of the woods. How could he ever forgive himself for loving another. The beautiful ravishing dancer approaches him and starts to glow so brightly that nothing else can be seen. Suddenly the overwhelming glow subsides and the magnificently enticing dancer reveals herself to be--The Beautiful Innocent Maiden Of The Woods ! She once again smiles gently and lovingly at the very handsome man.

The very handsome man realizes in an instant that he has been given everything that he ever could have dreamed of ! He has never been happier !

Act IV

The very handsome man and the beautiful innocent maiden walk through the woods. The other maidens dance around them with loving smiles. The sun glows and a gentle breeze caresses the two lovers.

Never has Beau-Le-Soleil seen a more beautiful day.


Epilogue

The little girl and little boy are sitting on the grass telling stories and daydreaming and having a wonderful time. The group of happy villagers reappear dressed in their beautiful, handsome costumes.

" Would you like to join our party ? ", ask the villagers.

" We'd Love To ! ", reply the little girl and little boy.

Aimie is being very silly.

Ami is drawing crayon pictures of magical moments of whimsical wonderfulness.

The sun is shining.

The birds are singing.

The flowers are blooming.

The butterflies are fluttering.

The fragrance of spring is dancing in the air.

Aimie and Ami are walking along the beach. Aimie is wearing her yellow-green wet suit, her bright orange ballet tutu skirt and her swimming flapper shoes.

Ami is carrying Aimie's "Annotated Notebook Of Balletic Technical Notations And Analyses For Five-Year-Olds" along with Aimie's baby ballerina teddy bears.

Aimie and Ami have been asked by the Kirov-Mariinsky to write a new children's ballet for the Beau-Le-Soleil summer season. It seems that many of the Kirov-Mariinsky dancers, who only planned to stay a month or two, never left. They have made Beau-Le-Soleil their second home. Beau-Le-Soleil couldn't be happier !

Aimie and Ami have been given a free roller coaster trip to the ocean beach to get seaside inspirations for their new ballet. They walk along the beach thinking about their new ballet.

"Lots of dancing snow."

"Lots of dancing mountains doing The Rock ."

"Let's have a dancing cow."

"And aerial dancers swinging from Mt. Beau-Le-Soleil."


Back in Beau-Le-Soleil they walk through the magnificent mountain landscape.

"We have to have lots of dancing waves and sparkle in our new ballet."

"Lots of tap dancing funny-fish."

"Lots of sunshine."

"And lots of little children on stage dancing the pas de deux from Swan Ocean."

"And the Beach Ballerina Bugaloo--too."

* The Dancer Who Lives In The Park *


Sesame Street has a great big Park. It might be the biggest Park in the world.

Sesame Street runs all around the Park. it even runs back and forth through the Park. Sesame Street runs back and forth uptown and downtown and across town.

You can find Sesame Street most anywhere. You can even find it in your heart.

A beautiful dancer lives in the Sesame Street Park. She lives in a wonderful, beautiful tree house that looks just like a big leafy tree branch. Inside it looks just like your favorite doll's house, for those of you who have a favorite doll's house.

At night she dances at the nearby "Crystal Palace". The "Crystal Palace" looks like the famous Paris Opera House, but it is made completely of Venetian structural crystal. Many say that it is the most beautiful Venetian structural crystal building in the world.

But her favorite places to dance are the Children's Playgrounds. There are hundreds of Children's Playgrounds on Sesame Street. Many say that all of Sesame Street is a giant Children's Playground.

At the "Crystal Palace" she dances....

"Swanee"
"Giggle"
"Beauty Sleep"

and many other famous classics.


At the Children's Parks she has learned her repertory from some of the best Five-Year-Old dancers on Sesame Street.

She regularly performs....

"The Run, Climb and Jump"
"The Talk To Myself"

"The Look"
"The Sunshine Smile"
"The Eeeeeee!"

and of course....

* The Child With The Crystal Chimes Voice Sings Tonight *


The Child With The Crystal Chimes Voice goes to the park everyday and loves to sing at the children's playground. The little children come running over to listen. They sit on the grass, their eyes wide open with delight. Then one or two of them will start to move their arms or tap their feet. Pretty soon all the children are dancing.

The Child With The Crystal Chimes Voice can sing almost anything.

Often symphony musicians practicing at the nearby world famous Crystal Palace Opera House come over to play along.The little children play their music boxes. Vacationing Nightingales are often heard joining in.

Amidst the fragrance of hundreds of newly blooming flowers the evening series of performances in the park continues. The Child With The Crystal Chimes Voice has been specially asked to hum along with the Crystal Palace Opera House Orchestra to selections from Gleevaldi's "Four Seasons". They will be accompanied by the world famous Crystal Palace Opera House Dancers.

It should be a most delightful and wonderful celebration of Summer.

This performance will probably be attended by celebrities and celestial beings from all over the universe, so be sure to bring your Angelina Ballerina Sigh-In Dolls to be autographed.


It Promises To Be Another Fantastic Evening Of Childlike Enchantment.
