Wut were your first pointe shoes?

My first pointe shoes were a brand called Anello and Davide. I believe that this company is in the UK and still makes handmade shoes. In the 50s, for a time, they made pointe shoes.

My first pointe shoes were Freeds - can't remember the type.

I think I had some Gamba's and Bloch's after that.

bloch aspirations at first i hated them then i really liked them then they died since then i've had GM's, Synergys, serenade, and my current freeds.

Fuzi's.

My first pair of pointes were Freeds but transferred to Salvios with the hardest possible shank (Unfortunately I have those terrible feet with extremely high arches. They look beautiful but alas have many problems - and that is why to this day I promote the importance of foot strength. I also get to practice along with my students

My first pair was Bloch Serenade.
