The New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) has just announced this year's grant recipients for the American Masterpieces in Dance: Reconstruction grant program, an initiative that is being administered by NEFA on behalf of the National Endowment for the Arts. Grants ranging from $20,000 - $40,000 (per project) will be used towards reconstruction during the 06-07 season, with the hopes of staging a tour for each project in 07-08.
There are quite a few interesting dances in this list, including an Ulysses Dove work that has never been staged before by a US company!
