was this weekend awarded an OBE for services to dance, as part of The Queen's
Birthday Honours List.

of Scottish Ballet, and I am absolutely delighted to accept this honour."
Scottish Ballet will perform a mixed bill of works by Balanchine, Robbins, van
Manen, and a UK premiere of Krzysztof Pastor's In Light and Shadow, at the
Edinburgh International Festival from 18 - 20 August, before commencing on a
National Tour of Scotland from September with a programme that includes the Scottish
premiere of Ashley Page's Room of Cooks and the world premiere of Sirocco, a short
work by Scottish Ballet's award winning dancer, Diana Loosmore*. Further

* Please note that Room of Cooks and Sirocco will not be performed at all venues on
the national tour.
