FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FRED ASTAIRE TAKES A NEW DANCE PARTNER WITH THE

HIGH SCHOOL FOR ARTS, IMAGINATION AND INQUIRY

"Dance Among the Stars"

Wednesday, June 28, 2006

June 7, 2006 (New York, NY) - The distinguished Fred Astaire Dance
Studio on West 72nd Street will be performing a dance benefit for the
new High School for Arts, Imagination and Inquiry (HSAII), which
celebrates the conclusion of its inaugural year. This is a brand new
high school, developed in association with Lincoln Center Institute for
Arts In Education (LCI). Having this association means that the school
is committed to the same high standards for excellence in its practice
as the Institute is in its own. Both believe in the value of art as
inspiration for critical and creative thinking.

The "Dance Among the Stars" benefit will be held on Wednesday, June 28,
2006, beginning at 7:30 P.M. in the theater at the High School for Arts,
Imagination and Inquiry, located on the Martin Luther King, Jr.
Educational Campus at 122 Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY. The hall
seats 1000, and the school plans to fill it with students, parents,
family, friends and sponsors. General seating tickets are $25 in
advance, and $30 a ticket at the door. In addition to the event itself,
every ticket includes two half-hour private dance lessons at the Fred
Astaire Dance Studio on West 72nd Street. Tickets will go on sale
starting June 1st and may be purchased over the phone by calling the
High School for Arts, Imagination and Inquiry at 212.799.4064 or the
Fred Astaire Dance Studio at 212.595.3200.

The benefit "Dance Among the Stars" will showcase ballroom dancing and
will be hosted by ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" Tony Dovolani who also
will perform with his professional partner Elena Grinenko. The
evening will feature Darius and Jolanta Mosteika, who have won world,
international and US ballroom dance championship competitions, as well
as professional and amateur competitive dancers from the Fred Astaire
Dance Studio. This is the first time Fred Astaire Dance Studios has
partnered with a NYC school. There will also be a dance presentation
by the students from the Dance Club at the High School for Arts,
Imagination and Inquiry.

Sponsors may purchase tickets in the following categories: Gold Star
Sponsorship is $500 for ten orchestra seats; Silver Star Sponsorship
is $250 for five orchestra seats; Single Sponsor tickets are $50 each.
The Star Sponsors will be acknowledged in the commemorative program, in
the promotion for the event, and from the stage on the night of the
event. Advertising space is available in the commemorative program if
you wish to show your support for this school, its students and your
community. All proceeds directly benefit the High School for Arts,
Imagination & Inquiry and are tax deductible to the full extent of the
law.

The High School for Arts, Imagination and Inquiry has become a valuable
part of the community, so be its "Star"! Come for a fabulous night of
fundraising and "Dance Among the Stars".
