Dear friends,

I would like to update you about a change in our summer dance schedule.
Due to dancer injuries, we've had to cancel the Summer Dance Intensive
with Bill Evans and Nada Diachenko, which was scheduled to run from June
19-30. However we have two other summer intensive classes on the slate:

Summer Intensive with Gloria McLean

- Week-long intensive combining modern dance technique and
composition, culminating in a final

performance excursion to the Catskills

- McLean's approach builds on Erick Hawkins' technique, which
she perfected during her eleven years of

working with hiim

- Mon-Sat, Jul 31-Aug 5, 10 am - 4 pm (6 sessions), $350

"Write to Dance" Summer Intensive

- Christal Brown and Paloma McGregor explore choreography that
uses movement and text together. Students

study how text can inform dancing and vice versa, then present
their own work in a studio performance

- 6 bi-weekly sessions, Tue & Thu, Aug 8-24, 10 am - 1:30 pm,

If I can provide you with more information about these intensives, or
any of our dance programs, please let me know!

Cheers - Sarah
