This NY Times article will only last for a day:
www.nytimes.com/yr/mo/day/news/arts/dance-notes.html
The gist is that Boston Ballet has announced the departure in June 2001 of Anna-Marie Holmes as artistic director of the company, a position she assumed in 1997 after a long association with the company.
There was a newspaper report that she had been forced out by the Director Geoffrey Babcock, but she said, "That's not true. We've asked for a retraction."
Ms. Holmes, was an internationally known ballerina in the 1960's and 70's.
Anyone, including out readers from the Boston area, know more about this or have any thoughts about Ms Holmes?
[This message has been edited by Stuart Sweeney (edited 01-03-2000).]
