okay every one who has read this knows that i have musical theater right?? well I don't want the dance preformances to get in the way what should I do there?

Hi there. Thought I would add my 2 cents worth
Ballet does offer an extremely solid foundation for all other styles (May be a place to start). My suggestion would be perhaps to try to find a Performing Arts Studio that specialises in the teaching of Triple Threats (ie) Song, Dance, Acting. I know that most of these types of studios have wonderful package deals and may be the way to go. Just a thought. (They also vary the Dance component so that to cover the styles - jazz, tap, ballet, popular-dance etc. VERSATILITY is the key these days I think.
Whatever you choose to do, have fun with it, learn, grow and ENJOY.
Dance is the most wonderful experience and I would truly recommend in either case of either wanting to be a professional and/or vocational student.
