Note to New Users:
Welcome to the criticaldance forum (and what took you so long to get here?)
This is a place for dancers, audiences, designers, administrators -- anyone, anywhere in the world, who loves dance -- to read about and discuss anything pertaining to the art form.
You'll find many topics here that are interesting to read; we hope that you'll also share your own thoughts with us. Don't worry if you're not an "expert"; our posters range from people who are just discovering the art to principal dancers and choreographers with major companies. All insights are welcome; all that's necessary is that you have something to say, whether it be a review of some performance you've seen, a comment on a dance-related issue, a question concerning something you've been wondering about, or just a witty observation.
...And if you're more comfortable just sitting back and reading, that's fine, too.
Usually, most of our forums are "locked" -- anyone can read, but only registered users may post -- but for the next several days, several forums will remain open. After that time, you'll have to register in order to post messages, but don't worry -- registration is quick, free, and requires no personal information. There's a link to the registration form at the top of each forum index, or you can just click here.
In addition to the forum, criticaldance publishes the monthly ballet-dance magazine, with in-depth articles and reviews.
Enjoy your visit to criticaldance; we hope it will be the first of many.
