The PRIMA Ballerina!

I’m too poor to have my own website! Besides, you get much better coverage here. I’ve been told we get some 70,000 :p PRIMA :p hits per day!

Well a week has passed and neither ‘prima’ ballerina nor the National Ballet of Canada has responded to my post-Not that I was naïve enough to actually believe they would waste one iota of their precious time composing a response, let alone reading the post! The term ‘prima ballerina’ seems to be more in vogue in Europe than North America.

In any case, I think I have proven my point. I still can’t believe the National allowed this grand faux pas on their preview DVD. It will do very little to encourage fans to donate. The term is a big turnoff in Canada and I suspect the U.S.A. as well.

The ‘PRIMA BALLERINA’ has reared her pretty head once again in this health & fitness article in the National Post! Perhaps I am wrong? If Chris Wattie of the National Post has declared Greta Hodgkinson to be a prima ballerina then it must be so!

According to the Garis (Talent) Agency Greta Hodgkinson is PRIMA ballerina for the National Ballet of Canada. You have to respect a ballet authority like the Garis Agency!

You’ll have to scroll down to see Greta’s bio. A girl has to pick up some extra bucks anyway she can! Good for her.

There’s an interesting story about an unnamed PRIMA BALLERINA who likes to play cowgirl at the Union Station shooting range in today’sGlobe & Mail!

I find it surprising to think of a ballerina at a shooting range, but then the greater surprise is the location of the CNRA Handgun Club-in the rafters of Union Station.

I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to PRIMA BALLERINA Greta Hodgkinson and state emphatically that she is a PRIMA BALLERINA!

Anybody deep within the very bowels of the NBoC know which PRIMA BALLERINA likes to play with guns? :lol:

This is why being a "Schmuck in Tights" can be nice. You can go shooting afterwards and no one gives a hoot.

I'm pretty sure her little speach was not spontaneous but scripted by somebody...who that was I don't much care. If the ballet management wants to start calling Principals Prima I could care less. Maybe an effort to develop a little star power...who knows. She dances like a "Prima" and that's good enough for me.
