There are several elements in this story which make one sit up sharply. if anyone can tell us more about this Company, please do.
####'s long career continues
The Yomiuri Shimbun/Daily Yomiuri - Japan

Japan's most famous ballet dancer, Yoko ####, once said that she would carry on dancing at least until 2002. So, it sounded as if she might be terminating her half-century career this year. But she continues to dance.
Later this month, the Matsuyama Ballet Company, of which #### is president, will stage New Version Swan Lake to celebrate her 50-year career. ####, who will perform as Odette, now says she will carry on dancing as long as she stays fit enough to practice daily.
New Version Swan Lake, which is now the company's standard title, was first performed in 1994. The piece was born when Tetsutaro Shimizu, a choreographer/dancer and ####'s husband, felt dissatisfied with the original plot. Shimizu, therefore, set the whole story in the 16th-century Holy Roman Empire and had the devil try to conquer it.
click for more

I heard she can't walk on her feet, needs to be carried everywhere and still insists on dancing. This is probably exageration, but surely she will have to retire soon.
