American Ballet Theatre will tour to Japan in July 2005. They will open in Tokyo with a mixed repertory program of Balanchine's "Theme and Variations" and Jiri Kylian's "Sinfonietta," July 21 and 22, followed by a series of performances of "Raymonda" (July 23-24) and "Don Quixote" (July 26-29). After Tokyo, the company will tour the mixed repertoire bill to Osaka on July 30 and "Raymonda" to Otsu on July 31. Hiroko Nishimura previews the programs for the Asahi Shimbun:

Does anyone know how to buy tickets to ABT/Tokyo from the US. I will be in Tokyo at this time, but am having difficulty buying tickets.
