Mutiny afoot in the Royal Ballet

A long tour of Australia, numerous injuries, a hectic summer season, and end-of-season blues have combined to bring trouble to England's Royal Ballet, led by the Australian Ross Stretton.

Equity members within the Royal Ballet have held a number of meetings at which they discussed passing a vote of no-confidence in Stretton, 50, citing his casting decisions and management style.
