Image

'A gem of dazzling brilliance Jewels.' John Percival comments that, '..."Rubies", absolutely dazzling when the amazing Manuel Legris dances it, so quick, strong, light and secure in his solos that you hardly notice their difficulty, and a very superior partner, too – so much so, that the sweetly charming Delphine Moussin looked a different woman when she danced with him.'
I was priviliged to see Legris in 'La Bayadere' and can well believe Percival's description of his performance. I have not seen a more elegant and nimble footed male ballet dancer.
http://www.independent.co.uk/enjoyment/Theatre/Dance/
Reviews/2001-01/dancejewels050101.shtml

[This message has been edited by Stuart Sweeney (edited January 06, 2001).]
