AFTER all the political wranglings surrounding Scottish Ballet and Opera over the past few years, it was about time the Theatre Royal played host to a celebration. And what a touching, entertaining and uplifting night it turned out to be.
Scottish Ballet’s education unit has been hard at work for years, taking dance to the masses and holding classes in its Glasgow studios. In partnership with Glasgow City Council, it has also formed Dance4Glasgow, an initiative which gets children dancing after school and at weekends. Celebr8 gave all of them a chance to shine.
