National Dance Week events for Kansas

Professional Representative, Mary Ann Van Dine, has scheduled the NDW performance by the Releve Dance Troupe for Saturday, May 3, 2003 at the city’s Schlagle High School.

Three area studios will participate with the Kansas City Kansas Public School system’s ensemble. Tyrone Aiken, the Educational Director for the Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey, has been a guest choreographer for the past six years and continues his support for the dance troupe and NDW by choreographing the finale number, a hip hop ensemble number.
