When would one consider themself to be a ballerina? Is there a certain point that has to be reached in order to?

Hi..."Ballerina" is usually reserved for female dancers of great stature with major national and international companies. You can be a female "principal" dancer in a well-known company, but not be considered "Ballerina"...so you see, many dancers in the world, but not so many "Ballerinas"!
