My teacher said I need to get new pointe shoes because I am knuckling over. I don't have a really arched foot so I am confused as to what this really means. Could someone explain this to me?

It sounds, Denise, like you have a very descerning teacher - which is great.<P>Knuckling over means you are not on the tips of your toes anymore - but rolling onto the knuckles. That is a term I have never used myself - but that is what I believe she means. Your shoe is no longer supporting you.
