In under two years, it becomes the most active of forums.

Of course, the other forums are very actives too.

Toutes nos félicitations aux modératrices et aux membres de "Danser en français", qui est devenu notre plus grand forum, bien qu'il ne fonctionne que depuis moins de deux ans.

Tout a commencé lorsque Cathy a commencé à écrire sur CriticalDance au moment de la tournée du POB en Californie. Nous avons été enchantés de voir qu'elle pouvait nous apporter autant
d'informations sur la compagnie.

Cela a continué quand le SFB est venu en France peu après et que Cathy a fait le compte-rendu du
spectacle, qu'elle avait beaucoup aimé. Après un si bon départ, nous avons donné suite à la suggestion d'un lecteur d'ouvrir un forum en français sou la direction de Cathy à Paris et de

Marie à Montréal. Depuis, ce forum n'a cessé de grandir...

Depuis, Ileana a rejoint l'équipe des modératrices et Marie est partie pour une année sabbatique.

Le forum a couramment 10+ topics actifs chaque jour et la discussion sur l'Ecole de danse de
l'Opéra compte plus de 650 messages, ce qui, je pense, est un record pour un forum de danse destiné aux adultes.

J'ai récemment rencontré une personne travaillant à un niveau de direction dans le domaine de la danse dans le sud de la France et lui ai demandé si elle avait entendu parler de CriticalDance. "Oh, bien sûr, c'est très connu ici, a-t-elle répondu, j'ai un ami qui s'y connecte tous les jours. "

Félicitations à tous ceux qui s'impliquent pour faire de " Danser " un tel succès, et tout
spécialement aux si nombreux posters qui partagent leur passion de la danse avec des lecteurs du monde entier !

Many congratulation to the Moderators and contributors to "Danser", which has now become our single largest forum, despite having been in operation for less than two years.

It all started when Cathy dropped in to CriticalDance at the time of POB's visit to California and we were delighted that she could give us so much background material about the Company. The relationship continued when SFB visited Paris soon after and Cathy was able to report on the visit, which she loved. Having got off to such a good start, we took up the suggestion of one of our readers to open a dedicated Franch language forum under the direction of Cathy in Paris and Marie in Montreal and like Topsy it grew and grew.

Since then Ileana has joined the moderating team and Marie is now on a well-deserved sabbatical.

"Danser" regularly has 10+ active topics daily and the discussion about the POB School has now
logged over 650 posts, which could be a record for an adult dance board. I recently met a dance administrator who works in the South of France and asked if she had heard of CriticalDance. She replied, "Oh, yes! It's well known here. I have a friend who looks in every day."

Congratulations to all those involved in making "Danser" such a great success, but especially the many, many posters who share their passion for dance with readers all over the world.

I'm so glad of the success greatest and greatest day by day, week by week, month by month. I want to thank you again, Stuart and Azlan, to had believed in "Danser" and to allow to French balletomane to have their own place to speak about their passion : Dance.

I want congratulate all the people who post on Danser and without them Danser will not be this success.

And don't forget that if you're too shy to post in French, or if you don't speak the language, but still want to know what's out there, I can translate (as accurately as possible, as English is my second language!)

Ah, but can she speak ebonics?

"Ebonics" - "African American Vernacular English" (AAVE), and "Vernacular Black English" and by other names is systematic and rule-governed like all natural speech varieties.

Another landmark passed - "Danser" now has over 20,000 postings and is the first to do so on CriticalDance.
