OK folks it's time to select another front page photo. Looking at the great images we have had over the past few months, a ballet photo is our preference for the new one.
To start things moving, please put up some of your favourite images here. Bear in mind the shape of our front page, so it needs to be portrait shape rather than landscape. Also, it should at least be clear which company it is, but give as much detail as you can as we will have to seek permission to use it. When we have decent number of photos to choose from, we'll select 2 or 3 and then have a readership vote to decide the winner in a new thread.
Here's a couple to be getting on with:
Image
Dance Theatre of Haarlem
Image
Ariana Lallone and Batkhurel Bold in Subtext Rage. Glad this is generating interest. Do give us your comments, but remember that the voting stage comes later, when we have a short list of choices.
If you see a photo you like, but don't know how to make it come up in your post, then tell us where it is with the page URL and we'll do the rest.

Ideally I would like to see a dynamic picture of a male ballet dancer - not just in supporting his partner.
And in honor of the retirement of Anthony Dowell - I would LOVE to see such a picture of him.
Do I have one to offer? no, sorry...I looked but couldn't find one that would suit. But I am sure there must be some out there.

On reflection, I think we may struggle with an image of Sir A (Dowell not Ferguson). Approvals from photographers are likely to cost us £150 and the Royal Ballet will not approve use of their images on the Internet.

In case my fellow Yanks don't get it, Sir Alex Ferguson is the Manager, Coach and -- I guess -- a substantial stock holder of possibly the richest and most popular sports team in the world, Manchester United Football Club.
