Okay, I saw a work recently that was basically someone's pajamas... You can literally see the sweat stains on it <I>before</I> the dancing started, like it hadn't been washed in a long time... I had trouble watching the piece.

LMCtech, I saw your costumes again in action Sunday. I can't believe the quality at such a low cost. It goes to show you that low cost does <B>not</B> mean pajamas!

Thanks, Azlan.<P>There is a choreographer in town, Monique Jenkinson, who doesn't sew, but does put great costumes on stage. She does most of her shopping at thrift stores and always has a clear vision of what image she wants to present. That, I think is key. Many choreographers, however, don't have a clear vision of what the dancers clothes should be saying. those are the ones who should hire a professional.

I agree, but it's not enough to have the vision; they also need to know the vocabulary, and they need to know the craft.<BR>
