i really need to find out about the different types of set design beause i am doing a gcse project on it,i am having a lot of trouble! please could you tell me. thanks lottie.

Lottie, we'd be happy to help you, but your question is too vague. There are thousands of variables.

You might look for a book called, "Mielziner: Master of Modern Stage Design ". Actually, there are any number of good books on the subject, some of which are probably available from your local
library.

I suspect she meant the different styles...but it's not that simple.

Good design should be organic...it should come from the dance, play, or opera....which means that there are as many different styles of design as there are of choreography.

Well, that's interesting, because I'm not sure how you would categorize other things....costume design, lighting design
