The recent flood in Prague and Eastern Europe resulted in some devestating damage to the Archa Theatre (which regularly programs dance) in which the water reached from 4-5 metres!

Both halls of the theatre have been completely destroyed. We
already know that the reconstruction of the space will take months
and run into tens of millions. Most of high-priced technical
equipment (lights, speakers, sound control boards, computers, etc.)
that is movable has been saved thank to the prompt action of the
staff and other helpers. Unfortunately, the water flooded all the
built-in technologies, ventilation, the machine shop, wiring,
mechanical floors, moveable walls, storage space, etc.

If you would like to support the restoration of the Archa Theatre
financially, please use the following bank account:

There was a story on NPR about this, and also the devasting flood in the basement of the opera house in Dresden. As I understand it millions of dollars worth of sets and costumes have also been lost.

Tragic. Hopefully investors will step up to the plate.
