So - here we are!! I have personally never used ouch pounches but I know that many girls do with their pointe shoes and many like them. However, some say that they bunch up. The only way you will really know if you like them, I think, is to try them.
As for me, I always used lamb's wool. When I had a really heavy rehearsal schedule I would use an ace bandage and lamb's wool.
But maybe someone else here will have a personal experience with them - so check back and see what others say.

I find you can feel the floor better without the ouch pouches, but oh, they are comfy! They are worth a try if you find yourself hurting during class. I actually have a friend who HAS to wear them because of the shape of her foot, point shoes don't fit her quite properly without them. I prefer not to wear them, but I do admit to using ouch pouches for those all day rehersals! Why don't you borrow a pair from somebody for a class and see if you like them, before you buy a pair for yourself? The whole thing is personal preference.

Katya - perhaps for those who may not know - can give more details as to what these look like, what they are made of? Do they wear out in any way? Are they expensive?
Any details you can add would be appreciated.
