Image
if you click on 'Style', you will see SIX different ones to 'choose' from!
this site also has an excellent Links list.

Have added a new subdivision to the Links, as well as a new poll. And I've put accents on all the French words that require them Image.
------------------
~Intuviel~
Balletica
actually, on second thought, it might be quite smart to put your 'french accent keyboard lesson' in its own thread, so we are able to refer people easily to it later on...
i just had another visit at your site. i assume that you have chosen your Dancer links (all 4 of them) very carefully. so you may not want these, for Balletica, but i'll share them here anyway...some other dancer's sites:-
Marie Claude Pietragalla - a particularly well-made site http://www.pietragalla.com/
Olivier Wevers and Kaori Nakamura of Pacific Northwest Ballet http://www.geocities.com/~kaolivier/
darcey bussell http://www.darceybussell.com/darceys_world.htm
suzanne farrell (unofficial) <A HREF="http://"http://mynetcentral.com/suzfarrell/" TARGET=_blank>http://mynetcentral.com/suzfarrell/
Image "
738 dancers listed at Ballet Archive - click their names to get short biogs or repertoire lists. this should keep you busy for a while! Yes, I will put those accent codes down~~the most frequent one I use is: hold down the alt key and type 130 on the keypad on the right of the keyboard.
Thank you for the links! I am careful to choose only official sites, but I simply did not know about the ones you listed Image.
------------------
~Intuviel~
Balletica
hi intuviel! yes, 'Alt' and 1,3,0, is the ONLY one *I* know - victoria taught me that.
i want to ask you also, how do you embed your URL in your site name, as you've done in your signature? i noticed another time that you also did this in a post, using the word 'here' which was clickable: pretty clever... Image
and isn't it great that your teacher has started to use the internet?

p.s. it's especially great that she gave YOU a good review for your triple pirouettes and your red riding hood solo!
and btw, can i link to your Balletica site from my AICD (Australian Institute of Classical Dance) website, which i am doing more work on today? since i joined CD, i haven't had time to even LOOK at it, so it's WAY overdue to go up, but i'm aiming for this week (maybe even today, unfinished pages included!: i'll let you know). Here is (most of) the code I use in my signature~~type it without the spaces (I had to put them in or it would have just made the word Balletica clickable):
Balletica
It's actually pretty easy to do. Please do link to my site from yours (is your site up and running? If so, may I link to it?).
------------------
~Intuviel~
Balletica

[This message has been edited by Intuviel (edited June 08, 2000).]

Yes, I am glad Mme. Smirnova is finally online~~it's great to have her there! (Maybe I can entice her to start posting here, too, eventually. And I was very happy about the compliments she gave me~~I was so nervous during that variation, I have no idea where those two triples came from!
------------------
~Intuviel~
Balletica
intuviel: thanks re that info, and re the french Keyboard lesson.
i'll pay a bit more attention to what you've written later.
i only came in here at the moment for a bit of light relief, as i'm TRYING to upload my site right now, and all is not going to plan - SURPRISE! SURPRISE! (does it EVER?)...
anyway, thanks for the offer, which would be great, in time, but it's probably better to wait a while. i still have lots of pages that say "Please check back here later"...and "Thanks for your patience while this page is being consructed" -that sort of thing! How embarrassing! Image anyway, better go back to that ftp rigamarole, now...i'll let you know how it goes...
