DTOL (Dance Teachers On Line) is a website created by nigel grant in london.
it's a bit of a mixed bag of bits and pieces - some quite interesting (but it has to be said there is a lot of self-promotion and site-promotion mixed in there, as well!)
i thought i might draw your attention to this page, where he invites people to write in as to How to Qualify as a Dance Teacher, wherever you live - you might find some of the answers interesting.....or you might even want to contribute.....
http://www.dtol.ndirect.co.uk/dtol17.htm
here is the site homepage -
http://www.dtol.ndirect.co.uk/

Grace I am a member on the DTOL site and I have had a few enquiries from it ans secured some students that way. It is worth a look and members receive a weekly newsletter which is quite entertaining.

I too am a memeber of DTOL. I agree that it's a slight commercial oriented site but the weekly newsletters are interesting and are a way to be in touch with other teachers all around the world. antoP.

The newsletters contain things about conferences, workshops that are taking place around the world, queries from teachers or anyone studying dance etc.
Yes it is commercial in places but we don't pay anything to be members and I believe Nigel Grant is running the site as part of his business so he has got to charge for some things.
It is worth a look if you place it in the above context.
